General provisions
1. The online store www.bathroom-rea.co.uk is operated by the Seller indicated in the section “Store identification and contact details”.
2. These Terms are addressed to Consumers and Business Customers (with exceptions specified in section 9).
3. The Seller is the controller of personal data.
4. Definitions used in the Terms include, among others: Business Day, Customer, Account, Newsletter, Product, Online Store, Sales Contract, Electronic Service, Business Customer with consumer rights.
5. Provisions concerning Consumers also apply to a Business Customer with consumer rights, insofar as mandatory laws so provide.
Electronic services
1. Account – a free service created by completing the registration form; the agreement is concluded for an indefinite period; the Account may be deleted upon request by contacting: office@bathroom-rea.ie.
2. Order form – a one-off electronic service enabling the placement of an Order in the Store.
3. Newsletter – available upon voluntary consent; you may unsubscribe at any time via e-mail contact.
4. Technical requirements – a device with Internet access and a current web browser supporting cookies and JavaScript.
5. Prohibited content – it is forbidden to provide unlawful content.
6. Complaints regarding electronic services – should be submitted to: customer@bathroom-rea.co.uk or in writing to: ul. Przędzalniana 6L, 15-688 Białystok, Poland.
Conditions for concluding a sales contract
1. A Sales Contract is concluded after an Order is placed using the Order Form and confirmed by the Store via e-mail.
2. Prices are given in GBP and include taxes.
3. The content of the contract is recorded by keeping these Terms available on the website and by sending an e-mail confirmation of the purchase.
4. The final button in the ordering process is clearly labelled (“Order and pay” or an equivalent).
Payments
1. Available payment methods: PayPal; traditional bank transfer to the bank account.
2. Traditional bank transfer – account details (GBP): Sort Code: 23-14-70, Account number: 28756849.
3. Bank details: Wise Bank UK.
4. Payment deadline: for bank transfer or online payments – within 7 days from concluding the contract; for cash on delivery (if available) – upon receipt.
Delivery and collection
1. Delivery is chargeable unless the Store provides otherwise.
2. Delivery methods: DPD courier; personal collection may be available.
3. Personal collection (warehouse): ul. Przędzalniana 6L, 15-688 Białystok, Poland (Mon–Fri, 8:00–15:30 CET).
4. Standard delivery time in the UK: 7–10 Business Days.
5. For consignments over 30 kg, the carrier is not obliged to carry items upstairs; a carrying service may be available for an additional fee agreed prior to dispatch.
6. Before accepting the parcel, the Customer has the right to check its condition.
Complaints (goods not in conformity with the contract)
1. The Seller is obliged to deliver goods in conformity with the contract, in accordance with consumer rights legislation.
2. Complaints may be submitted by Consumers and Business Customers with consumer rights.
3. Submitting a complaint:
  - preferred method: online return/claim form (RGA) available in the customer panel,
  - alternatively: e-mail to office@bathroom-rea.ie,
  - or in writing to: ul. Przędzalniana 6L, 15-688 Białystok, Poland.
4. The notification should describe the non-conformity and indicate the request (repair, replacement, price reduction, or withdrawal – if statutory prerequisites are met).
5. The Seller replies within 14 days. Lack of reply means the complaint is accepted.
6. Returning the complained goods takes place at the Seller’s cost to: ul. Przędzalniana 6L, 15-688 Białystok, Poland.
Out-of-court dispute resolution (ADR)
1. The Customer may use assistance from local consumer advisers, Trading Standards, mediation/arbitration by competent authorities, and consumer organisations.
2. For information: the EU ODR platform was decommissioned on 20/07/2025 – ODR links are no longer operational.
Right of withdrawal
1. The Customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason within 30 days from taking possession of the goods.
2. The declaration may be submitted:
  - preferred method: online return/claim form (RGA) available in the customer panel,
  - alternatively: e-mail to office@bathroom-rea.ie,
  - or in writing to the returns address: ul. Przędzalniana 6K, 15-688 Białystok, Poland.
3. Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the declaration; the Store may withhold the refund until it receives the goods or proof of their return.
4. The goods should be sent back to: ul. Przędzalniana 6K, 15-688 Białystok, Poland.
5. The Customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
6. The Store does not accept parcels sent “cash on delivery”.
7. Statutory exclusions from the right of withdrawal apply (e.g., non-prefabricated items, made-to-order products, hygiene items after opening the packaging).
Provisions concerning business customers
1. The Seller may limit available payment methods for business customers (e.g., prepayment requirement).
2. The risk of accidental loss or damage to the goods passes to the business customer upon handing the shipment over to the carrier.
3. The business customer should inspect the shipment upon receipt and draw up a damage report as required by law.
4. The Seller’s liability towards a business customer is limited to typical and foreseeable damages up to GBP 200 or the order value (whichever is lower).
5. The above provisions do not apply to a business customer with consumer rights insofar as mandatory consumer protection laws grant such protection.
Privacy Policy and GDPR
1. The controller of personal data is the Seller: Podlasiak UK Limited, Chocolate Factory 2, 4 Coburg Road, London N22 6UJ, United Kingdom.
2. Data are processed for order fulfilment, after-sales service, customer communication, account management, as well as for analytical and marketing purposes.
3. Legal bases: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), and consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Recipients of data: carriers, payment operators, accounting office, IT providers, customer support partners – only to the extent necessary to perform the contract.
5. Data are not sold to third parties.
6. Data protection contact: office@bathroom-rea.ie.
7. The Customer has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability and to object.
8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
9. Data are stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes and in accordance with accounting/tax regulations.
Final provisions
1. The language of these Terms and of contracts concluded with the Store is English.
2. The Terms may be amended for important legal or organisational reasons (e.g., change of law, payment or delivery methods). Users of continuous services will be informed at least 14 days in advance.
3. In matters not regulated herein, the applicable law shall apply.
4. After the transaction, the Store may send the Customer an invitation to voluntarily review the purchase.
